1: Have an environment that feels good to spend time in

Depending on what you are keeping in your storage unit, you might end up spending a fair amount of tie inside it. If you do, then you won't want to be inside the unit on hot days, when the temperature inside the unit can get to unhealthy levels. You also won't want to be in there when it gets cold, and you can end up spending the majority of your time shivering and wishing for warmth. Another issue can be high humidity levels that can cause you to sweat uncomfortably the whole time.
